Stickers
Stickers were designed for the 2024 General Election, including the LGBTQ+ "I Will Vote" sticker, which Vivian created from scratch with assistance from the in-house translation team at HQ in Norwalk. She also reimagined the "First Time Voter" sticker, drawing inspiration from the iconic "I Voted" design originally created by the department's former head graphic designer.
First Time Voter
If you live in Los Angeles County, you're likely familiar with the iconic "I Voted" sticker, originally designed by the department's former head graphic designer, LuLu. While this re-design was as simple as changing the title, I was determined to match the exact font LuLu used in her original design. After some searching, I was fortunate to track it down, ensuring the updated sticker maintained the original style, giving first-time voters the same sense of honor as those who voted before them.
I will Vote
In celebration of LGBTQ+ History Month this October, I was thrilled to create a brand-new sticker, designed from scratch to honor the vibrant colors of the LGBTQ+ community. With a concept already in mind, the final result exceeded my expectations. While most stickers are traditionally 2D, I wanted to bring a unique twist by incorporating overlapping, intersecting lines with shadow effects, giving the colorful design extra depth and making it stand out. Although the LGBTQ+ community is known for its bold, lively colors, I aimed for a sleek, polished look that still conveyed pride and inclusivity. I also added a meaningful detail: a transgender icon in the "o" of the word "Vote," symbolizing the community’s diverse voices. Thanks to our amazing in-house translation team, we were able to include 'I Will Vote' in 18 different languages, each adapted to fit beautifully within the white circle of the sticker.
